The Braley & Wellington Insurance Agency Corporation has been in an active period of growth since its inception in the mid 1970s.

Before Braley & Wellington, we were known by the names Estes & Johnson Insurance, Ernest Smith Insurance and Hamilton Davis Insurance.

The Group continued to grow with the acquisitions of the Greendale and Malmstead Insurance Agencies and, in the late 1990s, the H.B. Conant Agency in Auburn and the CD Whitney Agency in Millbury, MA.

The end result is a professional insurance group with more than 200 years of cumulative experience and a well-defined mission to provide expert service, quality products and sound advice in a warm and friendly environment.

The Braley Wellington Group Recycles

The Braley & Wellington Insurance Agency has started an in-house recycling program with the help of our Worcester-area Waste Management representative. Recognizing that the insurance industry is paper-intensive, we have taken a step towards environmental responsibility by recycling over 75% of the waste produced in our office.

In the near future, our agency hopes to move toward paperless production, which would involve disposing most of our paper files. With our new recycling program, we will be able to do so in a much more environmentally friendly way. We will continue to shred and recycle any documents containing clients’ private information to ensure protection.
